Extreme Team Returns With TBO Entertainment for 2010

| Saturday November 28 2009

The Extreme Team is currently preparing for a big 2010 first quarter and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be back with TBO Entertainment and their Monster Freestyle Fallout Tour!  The first six weeks of the year we’ll be on the TBO Tour with the Bearfoot race truck and the ride truck which will be back as Extreme Team this season. From there we’ll head up to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Battle of the Monster Trucks. Last year Mac and Bearfoot had a great weekend long battle with Bigfoot and we’re ready to do it all over again. We’ve still got some open dates in March, so anyone looking for a great truck for those weekends, contact us today. We also have to send out a big thanks to our friends with PTC Transmissions who have put some great quality equipment in Bearfoot for 2010. Check them out at www.PTCRace.com! We’re ready for the New Year, we hope to see you on tour this winter!

Extreme Team Wraps Up Wild Summer Tour

| Thursday August 20 2009

It’s been a crazy few weeks since our last update and in that time we have ran two of the biggest names in the history of the sport, Bearfoot and BIGFOOT!  After stopping by the Bigfoot 4×4 shop in St. Louis to pick up a body, we were off to fill in for the team at the KSR Motorsports Night of Fire & Destruction at Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. The first night went well, but there would be no stopping Joe Sylvester and Bad Habit as he picked up the freestyle win. Saturday however, Mac was up to the task as he put together a strong run with slap wheelies, donuts and air to take the victory. We had a great time with the KSR folks and it was a pleasure to represent Team Bigfoot. Thanks to FastLanePhotos.com for the picture below.

After saying goodbye to the Bigfoot body, we were ready to get back to work with Bearfoot as we traveled on for to Indiana for a Monday night show in Crownpoint at the Lake County Fair. Facing off against the Bar’s Leaks Eliminator, Rislone Defender and Paul Shafer himself in Monster Patrol, Mac did a great job and brought home the racing win along with the top freestyle of the night.

Next up would be two more shows in Michigan for Larry Hatt, Saturday in Jackson and Monday in Mount Morris. The Jackson show did not go well for the Extreme Team as the transmission let go on the very first pass of the night putting Mac out of the event. After repairs, Mac was ready to take on the competition in Mount Morris on Monday. Allen Pezo grabbed the racing win in Predator, but Mac had the wheelies and donuts working in freestyle and it would be enough to take home the win.

It’s been a strong season for Mac and Bearfoot with 27.5 racing and freestyle wins out of a possible 52 for a 53% winning percentage.  Now we get a week off and then it’s back on the road with the ride truck. Stay tuned for more updates and make sure to get in contact with us to have Bearfoot, Ballistic or the Savage ride truck at your next event!

Extreme Team Having Fun Summer

| Monday August 3 2009

After a relaxing month of June, it was back on the road for July, starting with a 4th of July celebration including monster trucks in Lee, New Hampshire! We had a great time at this event, running with Bruce & Jamie Haney and Bad News Travels Fast, Lionel Easler with Instigator and the legend Diehl Wilson with Virginia Giant. Mac ran strong in racing, but the Virginia Giant couldn’t be stopped as Diehl took the win. Bearfoot would experience some rear steering issues in freestyle, but Mac still managed to keep it going and did some great donuts to pump up the crowd.

Next it was on up to Ionia, Michigan for Larry Hatt’s Monster Truck Shootout at the Ionia Free Fair. Mac and Bearfoot didn’t disappoint the crowd with their performances, doing a great job, but Prowler and Bad News would pick up the wins. The team was back on the road, down to Grayslake, Illinois just outside Chicago for a Paul Shafer Tuesday fair show that we have been part of for several years now. In side-by-side drag racing, Mac worked his way to the finals, only to be beat by Bruce Haney in Bad News by mere inches. In freestyle however, Mac put on a show with very little to work with, driving Bearfoot to the win.

Only two days later, it was back to racing for the Paul Shafer Thursday night show at the Porter County Fair in Valparaiso, Indiana. For Mac, this meant returning to the site of his first rollover, last fall in Valpo. Racing on a fun J-hook course, Mac ran strong but it was Doug Charles in Captain USA who would work his way through the eight-truck field to take the win. Freestyle was a blast as the trucks ran two at a time on several occasions to the delight of the crowd. There would be no winner announced due to the tandem runs, but Mac & Bearfoot did a great job.

Our next event is a very exciting one for the team, as we have had the honor of being asked to run for Team Bigfoot at the KSR-Motorsports event at Bedford Speedway this coming weekend! The team traveled from Valpo down to St. Louis to put on the Bigfoot body and now it’s off to Bedford to take on Bad Habit, Viper, Storm Damage and more, representing the original monster truck! How many drivers can say they drove Bearfoot and Bigfoot in the same year? Stay tuned to find out how the show goes!

Bearfoot Sweeps Friday Night In Glencoe

| Monday May 25 2009

The Extreme Team has had a pretty relaxed month of May, using most of the month as a chance to work on the truck and get ready for summer. Mac and Bearfoot were back in action this past weekend at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama. The Monsters & The Mud event would see Bearfoot taking on Monster Patrol, Monkey’n Around, Clydesdale and Wild Thang in two nights of racing and freestyle competition. Friday night would turn out great for Bearfoot as Mac swept racing and freestyle. Saturday however would belong to David Brown and Monster Patrol despite a great effort from Mac and Bearfoot.

We’ll be pretty busy in the month of July, but we still have some opening for June, so contact us today to book Bearfoot for your next event!

March & April Bring More Success for Extreme Team

| Saturday April 25 2009

Bearfoot has seen racing action in two locations since our last update and Mac has put the truck in winner’s circle both weekends! After a ride truck only event in Houna, Louisiana for TBO March 20th-22nd, we were invited back to participate in the Monsters Tour Unleashed event at the Four States Fair in Texarkana, Arkansas. The cagey veteran Bennett Clark would manage to pull out the win in racing, but freestyle was all Bearfoot as Mac picked up his 19th win of the year. Check out the great photo of one of Mac’s wheelies below, big thanks to Amanda Fincher for sending us this shot!

After another couple weeks off, Bearfoot was back in action at the Monster X Tour event in Dothan, Alabama. The weekend would be a great back and forth battle between Mac and Bobby Holman with his Beast. Mac managed to defeat Holman in the Saturday night racing competition, but narrowly ran runner-up in the rest of the weekend.

With four months in the book, the Extreme Team is having a very successful season with Mac and Bearfoot now at twenty wins overall. Stay tuned for more updates!

Mac Plecker’s Win Total Now at Twenty After February

| Tuesday March 3 2009

After a great January, the Extreme Team was ready to continue the winning ways in February. Monroe, Louisiana would bring some tough competition from Reptoid and Greg Adams in Bar’s Leaks Eliminator, but that wouldn’t stop Mac from bringing home two more freestyle wins in Bearfoot. The TBO tour then headed to Tupelo, Mississippi where Mac dominated the weekend, sweeping all three freestyle competitions and picking up the racing victory on Sunday.

With a break in the TBO tour, it was time for the Extreme Team to head up to Tulsa, OK for one of our favorite events, Darryl Starbird’s Battle of the Monster Trucks. This show is pure racing with no dirt ramps against seven other tough trucks, making it one of the more unique shows of the year. Friday night was a tough one for Bearfoot as breakage caused an early exit from the bracket. Saturday however, would be a great day as Mac started off by beating Rick Long and Bigfoot in the finals for a big win! The evening show would see Long barely edge out Bearfoot, but it was another strong showing for the Extreme Team. Sunday Mac was determined to knock off the big blue Ford for the weekend split, and he would do just that, picking up the big win and spinning some wild donuts on the concrete to the fans’ delight.

Our last stop of the month would be the final TBO race of the winner in Augusta, Georgia. Mac would fly his way to the racing win both nights, but Shelley Kujat in Shell Camino was tough in freestyle. She grabbed the win Friday night and despite a great effort, a tie with Shelley was the best Mac could do on Saturday. A big thanks to Ron Kujat for the great photo above from racing.

Bearfoot Picks Up Nine Wins In January

| Monday February 2 2009

The Extreme Team has had a great start to 2009 with Mac Plecker and the Bearfoot monster truck picking up lots of wins on the TBO Monster Motornationals tour this month. After a late 2008 deal with Paul Shafer Motorsports, Mac was really excited to start out the new year running the legendary Bearfoot name. The team had gotten great feedback on the Bearfoot Ford body at the one 2008 show it was run at, and got plenty more from fans at the first ’09 stop in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Mac and Jim Jack in Reptoid had a great battle the first weekend out, with Mac grabbing a racing win on Saturday and two freestyle wins.

The next weekend in Jackson would see Bearfoot, Reptoid and Bruce Haney in Bad News have a great weekend of competition with one another. Mac would have the best weekend of the three though, winning racing twice and freestyle once in the three shows. The last event of the month was Gonzales, Louisiana where there were three more shows and three more wins for Bearfoot, one coming in racing and the other two in freestyle.

Only one month down in 2009, and Mac and Bearfoot already have amassed nine victories! It’s gonna be a good year for the Extreme Team, stay tuned for more updates!
